Berggasthof Auwinkel in Oberstaufen

A real oasis after our hike. Good and quick service. Orders are placed digitally via the handheld device in the kitchen and drinks bar. Therefore quick processing, very, very good 👍

Great inn to stop off at. Small cozy dining room with a rustic atmosphere. The food is sensationally tasty, fresh and not a finished product.

Very rude from the start! When asked if you could sit outside, you were already glared at how you dare to sit outside in the sunshine. (About 10 degrees but with strong sun). After a long wait, the landlady came out with her winter jacket and the sayings of how you could endure it in these temperatures. (very snappy!). As a family we were told at least five times how to sit outside because it would be way too cold ... The corona list was then placed on the table with all the addresses of the last visitors (not exactly data protection compliant). We then went there without anything to eat or let alone drink. In any case, NO recommendation !!!!

Located in the immediate vicinity of the lift system. A wonderful view of the mountains from the beer garden. The food was very good and plentiful. The service staff more than attentive! This is how I imagine service. So full marks and a greeting to the kitchen.

No drinking menu...

I can only recommend the inn! Really good, tasty food and nice service. If you want to ski in winter, you can go straight to the inn from the lift. Reservations are always an advantage!

We wanted to eat today (Wednesday) in the Berggasthof Auwinkel, we checked the opening times and then unfortunately we were in front of closed doors. We went up to Steibis especially for this. It's a shame. Please adjust the opening times on Google and Co!

Delicious Bavarian food, large outdoor area and cakes that change every day! Quality of the food and also the price-performance ratio are okay. The Auwinkelburger is really recommended! Only the service is sometimes lacking. Have eaten there several times in the last few years and unfortunately, as a customer, you can tell when the staff isn't having a good day.

Cozy, rustic mountain inn to feel good right at the valley station of the Imbergbahn in Steibis. The drinks and menu leaves nothing to be desired and contains both Bavarian and typical Allgäu food. Highly recommended are the Spinach Cheese Spaetzle - a true culinary delight! As a starter you automatically get a small fresh salad. We'll be back! :)

We were yesterday for the first time on site, super delicious food, very nice staff and for the kids there is a playground. The haystack is highly recommended

We are from Australia and had a lovely time here, enjoying a beautiful meal some local beer and very friendly service. Unfortunately our German is not good but the waitress was so helpful it made our visit simply wonderful
